So, we need some updates to this blog.


I will look to the Wine Pope to get us up to date on our Italian Wine night slated for June 12th.


Everyone should also be aware that Jonathan has decided to visit the country for our theme night tastings. So, he knew we had Italian Wine night coming up so he went to Italy. For our upcoming wines from the Orient (date to follow), Jonathan expects to spend a lot of time in Bangkok just prior to the tasting. This is a man who is serious about learning Wine. If you cannot afford the monthly trip to the country supporting our wine theme try to do what Hank and I do. We buy wines from that country or region or grape or whatever the theme might be and then we drink them all. Yup, all of them. Then we try to talk in full sentences about what we liked or in some cases what we remembered drinking. Sometimes I like to collect all the corks from an evening of wine drinking and then put them all in my mouth at the same time and then... try to drink a glass of Proseco. If that doesn't get you in the mood for Italian wines, I don't know what will.
